ABOUT

My research focuses on metaethics, metaphysics, and normativity. Currently, I am a post-doctoral research assistant and lecturer at Bielefeld University. I obtained my PhD from the University of Hamburg in 2023 with a dissertation on logical and metaphysical interpretations of the is-ought gap.  Before I came to Bielefeld, I have been part of the Emmy Noether project on relevance in Hamburg.

VITA

I studied philosophy, mathematics, and education at the University of Hamburg (M.A. in philosophy 2019), where I also received my PhD in philosophy (2023). In my dissertation, I defend two novel interpretations of the is-ought gap, a logical and a metaphysical interpretation in terms of ground. I worked as a doctoral researcher in the Emmy Noether project on relevance in Hamburg (08.2019-01-2023). I joined the department of philosophy at Bielefeld University in February 2023. Since then I've been an affiliated member of the ERC project "REASONS F1RST: The Structure of Normativity".
